8 simple hacks to make more money on Instacart (and make $25 bucks an hour or more)

Shop fast! The faster you shop for groceries, the more delivery jobs you can do for other people, making you more money in the process.

Park close to the cart corral. This cuts down on the time you’re at the store.

You don’t have to accept all orders. Here’s a simple hack. If an order is too far away from you, don’t accept it, but head towards an area where you know there’s a store. This way you’ll be ready for a possible new order at that store.

Before you begin shopping, have an idea of what categories the items on your list are in. Example categories can be personal care, produce, snacks, etc.

Whenever an item is out of stock, get a replacement fast. Don’t spend much time overthinking replacements. For example, if the store is out of 1-gallon milk, grab two half-gallon cartons of milk.

If you knock and the customer is not at the door, don’t wait too long. Take a picture of the groceries by the door and of the location. Then, send a message to the customer letting them know their groceries are out front. Accept more orders from fancier restaurants than fast-food restaurants. These customers will tip you way more cash on average.

Deliver during peak hours. Peak hours are lunch between 11 a.m – 1:30 p.m. and dinner 4:30 p.m – 11 p.m.

When I needed to make money fast during my financial struggle last year, I utilized several side hustles and easy side jobs.

One of those was starting the blog you’re currently reading, and the other was completing easy online tasks such as redeeming offers on Swagbucks.

They are a legit research company that’s known for high-paying focus groups and studies. On their website, they refer to their focus groups and studies as projects. Some of their projects are in-person but most are online, and they’re all time-flexible.

Most projects cater to small business owners, volunteers, mothers or mothers-to-be, the technology industry, and teachers.

But, if you don’t fall into those categories, don’t worry. Respondent.io has plenty of other opportunities. If you don’t see any opportunities that fit you, keep checking on a regular basis. They update frequently.

How do I participate in a focus group on Respondent.io?

• Create a free account here by signing up with your Facebook, LinkedIn, or Gmail.

• House sitting: Visit your client’s home, stay overnight and take care of their pet(s) and home.
• Drop-in visits: Stop by your client’s home while they’re away a few times a day for 30 minutes each time to feed and play with their pet(s).
• Dog walking: You pick up your client’s dogs at their home and provide a 30-minute walk.
