Etymology u0026amp; Word Origins

Mallutsack is based off the informal word “lucksack” which essentially is a lucky player in a game who wins generally off their luck and not skill.

Mal- is a suffix that means “bad.” Additionally, “lut” is based off the English (and Hindi rooted) word “loot” which refers to stolen goods. One who has had their goods stolen can be considered unlucky.
